Elastic bands are common in our daily lives, and everyone is very familiar with them, but you may not know the quality of elastic bands. Here are three tips to teach you to distinguish the quality of elastic bands.
1. Depending on the elasticity, the tension of the normal elastic band should be at least 1.8 times to 2.8 times the original length.
2. Looking at durability, poor elastic bands can easily lose their elasticity after a period of use. The good elastic band needs more force when it is stretched, while the poor one stretches easily. Therefore, we have to choose a stronger elastic band to be more durable.
3. Looking at the shrinkage, the elastic band just bought is soaked in hot water for about half an hour, and it is better to shorten the length of the elastic band within 8%.
